Introduction

 Salon이란 단어는 영화 '미드나잇인파리'에서처럼, 사람들이 모여 자신의 작업과 취향 등에 대해 이야기를 나누는 공간들에서 힌트를 얻었고, 우리가 좋아하는 혹은 알고싶은 무언가를 통칭하는 'something'을 그 뒤에 접목시켰습니다. Salon de Something 이라는 제목 아래 붙은 Creators' flat은 우리가 만들고자 하는 살롱에 대한 일종의 컨셉입니다. 플랫메이트들처럼, 하나의 아파트에 함께 살며 거실에 모여 이야기를 나누는 이미지의 공간을 구상했고 이것을 텍스트로 풀어 본 컨셉입니다. 
 우리는 아름다운 혹은 멋진 작업물을 만들어내는 creator들에게 존경을 표현하는 동시에, 그 작업물에 대한 우리의 생각과 느낌을 체계적인 아카이브로 정리해 보고자 이런 공간을 구상하게 되었습니다. 이 공간을 통해 우리는 함께 소통하며 더욱 깊이 있게 취향을 증축해 보고자 합니다.

 'Salon' is the word picked from spaces in movie 'Midnight in Paris', where people gathered and had conversations about their work and tastes. We added 'something' to that, which means things we love and desire to know. The phrase 'Creators' flat' is a kind of concept for Salon de Something. Like a flat which has a living room in it, we drew up a space where people can live together and communicate and figured the image out in texts. 
 We respect the great art/culture creators and there works. We wanted to express our respects for them and at the same time, hoped to make our thoughts, ideas and impressions into constructive archives. We are trying to communicate with people and build out our tastes in depth through this space.
